In this African tribe, when someone does something harmful, they take the person to the center of the village where the whole tribe comes and surrounds them. For two days, they will say to the man all the good things that he has done. The tribe believes that each human being comes into the world as a good. Each one of us only desiring safety, love, peace and happiness. But sometimes, in the pursuit of these things, people make mistakes. The community sees those mistakes as a cry for help. They unite then to lift him, to reconnect him with his true nature, to remind him who he really is, until he fully remembers the truth of which he had been temporarily disconnected: “I am good.” Shikoba Nabajyotisaikia! NABAJYOTISAIKIA, is a compliment used in South Africa and means: “I respect you, I cherish you. You matter to me.” In response, people say SHIKOBA, which is: “So, I exist for you.”

Penn and Teller on Vaccinations - Video

YES

WAIT WAIT WAIT
I feel the need to say that WE ARE NOT ANTI-VACCINATION!!!!
Or at least, I’m not.
You see, my parents work closely with autistic kids and their parents. Why? Because my brother is autisitc. Now I know there are some people who are like “yeah! We NEED vaccinations to protect us!”
I agree, vaccinations can protect us and I feel that one day when I have a child of my own I would like for them to be protected. However, I’m arguing against the mercury that is used in preserving the vaccines. You see, the companies that make the vaccines use mercury because it preserves the medicine for long periods of time, meaning that if they have a surplus, they won’t have to throw them out (this helps them save a lot of money!). Now mercury has been taken out of some vaccines given to infants, but what about the influenza vaccine which is given to an infant four times in the course of four years that is the exact same vaccine used on adults and is preserved in mercury?
Mercury, as we all know, can affect people mentally (ever heard of the Mad Hatter?), and autism is a mental disease. Now I’m not pointing fingers, but many cases show that autistic children were born as normal and healthy babies, but then changed after having a set of vaccinations (usually they go into seizures after the shot and are taken back to the hospital, never to be the same again).

The rate of autism of is now 1 out of every 68 children according to the CDC this year. Please don’t say we’re against vaccines, we’re really not. But when the numbers get to this, it’s pretty scary. And I think it’s just that, I don’t want any other parent or sibling to go through what I and my parents had to go through, and most of all my brother who is unable to hold a good job or communicate with others clearly enough to live on his own.
